Broadway San Jose Groups

Bring 10 people to the theater and receive special pricing and seating options!

Going to the theater gets better when you go as a group. We individually work with groups to find the best available seating accommodations for your needs.

3 steps to complete your order:

1. Interested in taking your group to a show? While you don’t have to know in advance exactly when you would like to attend or where you would like to sit, definitely feel free to view group pricing above and our seating chart HERE to help you get an idea.

2. Call us at (408)792-4580 or e-mail your group ticket inquiry to info@broadwaysanjose.com. We can from there help check seat availability for you and help set up the group process for you.

Our goal is to answer group inquiries by the end of the business day, but in high volume times and show weeks it may take us up to two business days to get back to you.

3. We will then e-mail/mail you a group sales contract, which we ask that you complete and sign. That along with a deposit will secure your seats, and final payments are collected closer to your actual performance date.

It’s that simple to take advantage of our group discounts at Broadway San Jose!

GROUP SALES POLICIES:

GROUP RESERVATION POLICIES
A group theatre experience is the perfect way to socialize and enjoy an activity together with family and friends, colleagues and classmates. A group consists of 10 or more people attending the same performance day and time, and a group can be made up of a group of friends, co-workers, students, members of a church, employees, children’s groups, corporate groups, military, or just about anyone that wants to go see an event together.

Groups can save anywhere from 10%-50% off the regular ticket prices (depending on the show and the performance). We will accommodate the best seats available in your desired section for your group. Seats cannot be held without a deposit or payment in full.

Groups are eligible for special pricing and no additional fees on top of the final prices (SEE GROUP PRICING).

CONTRACT PROCEDURES
When reserving tickets/putting seats on hold, a Group Ticket Sales contract will be issued to confirm your reservation, which will include your seat information and specific payment schedules. A signed and filled out copy of the contract must be received within 7 days by the Group Sales Department, along with – if not payment in full – a deposit equal to the price of 4 group seats in your desired seating section, to secure the reservation.

If the contract and deposit are not received within 7 days, the Group Sales Department will have to release any seats on hold. Please return your signed copy of the contract to Broadway San Jose via e-mail at info@broadwaysanjose.com, via regular mail to Broadway San Jose Group Sales, 408 Almaden Blvd., San Jose, CA 95110, or via fax to (408)277-3535.

The Group Sales Department pulls all tickets for one account under one name.

All orders are subject to seating availability. The Group Sales Department will provide the best seating allocations available at that time.

All group prices are total, meaning there are no additional fees or taxes on top of the prices on your contract.

Any changes to a reservation must be made before final payments (SEE PAYMENT SCHEDULES).

For pricing, please see our Group Sales Price Chart HERE

DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS
The price of four (4) seats of the total ticket order reserved will serve as a deposit for the group order. This deposit is non-refundable (please see cancellation policy).
The due dates and deposit amounts will vary depending on the show, and are stated on your individual contract. Failure to submit the deposit and final balance due by the dates given will result in immediate release of all seats on hold. Please feel free to contact the Group Sales Department on or before the payment due dates if you are concerned about the status of your payments.

COMPLIMENTARY SEAT
As an additional savings, for each group order, one complimentary ticket will be provided (for example, if the order is for 15 tickets, the 16th ticket will be complimentary). For Blue Man Group, the complimentary ticket will be issued only to groups of 40 or more. For Billy Elliot the Musical, the complimentary ticket is applicable at all performances except for Saturday evening.

ADDING SEATS
A group can request additional seats. Depending on availability, we will do our best to accommodate any additional seats next to or near previous seat holds. However, in some cases this may not be possible and may result in seating in a new seating section. If seats are requested before full payment has been made, they can be added to the original contract, for which we will send an updated contract. An additional deposit may be required.

REDUCING SEATS
Before payment in full is made, groups can reduce their number of seats as long as the number per contract stays above the group minimum of 10. Once payment in full has been made and tickets have been printed, no refunds, exchanges, or reduction of tickets can be made.
If a group should fall below 10 tickets, the contract is then cancelled. Orders less than 10 will be referred to our Single Ticket Box Office (SJTix) and will not be eligible for group ticket rates, and thus subject to full pricing and additional fees. Any deposit made on the contract can be put towards any other group purchase. Deposits unfortunately cannot be applied to single ticket purchases.

PAYMENT SCHEDULES
10-15 tickets = 2 weeks (14 days) prior to the performance date your group is attending
16-30 tickets = 3 weeks (21 days) prior to the performance date your group is attending
30+ tickets = 4 weeks (28 days) prior to the performance date your group is attending

If our Group Department is not contacted by your group leader by the date final payment is due in order to complete payment, per your group contract, the card used to make your group deposit will be automatically charged the remaining balance the next day.
If purchasing group tickets after the timeline for final payments above, the order must be paid in full at the time of purchase (we cannot accept deposits in this situations).

EXCHANGING TICKETS
No exchanges on purchased tickets are permitted. Once final payment has been made and tickets have been printed and/or mailed, no refunds, cancellations, or exchanges can be made.

MAKING PAYMENTS
Payment may be made by cash, check, or charge (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover).

CANCELLATION POLICY
If cancellation is necessary before a deposit has been paid, there is no charge.

REFUND POLICY
All sales are final.

SEATING POLICIES
It is strongly recommended that children under the age of 5 do not attend performances. All patrons, regardless of age and seating section, must have a ticket. No babes in arms. Broadway San Jose presents LIVE theatre, the shows start promptly on time and there is no late seating. Please make sure to allow for plenty of time to find parking. We recommend arriving at the theatre ½ hour prior to the stated performance time.

Patrons who arrive after the stated time of the performance (even 1 minute late) will be seated at the discretion of management at an appropriate break after the performance has begun in a designated seating area. You will be asked to fill the gaps between you and other patrons. To ensure that all patrons have an enjoyable experience, patrons who leave their seats in the middle of an act will not be readmitted to their seat until the end of the act.

ARRIVAL
The San Jose Center for the Performing Arts lobby opens one hour before curtain. Ushers begin seating patrons one half-hour prior to curtain.

If you have any questions about Group Ticket Policies, need any clarification, or wish to book a group, please contact Group Sales at (408)792-4580 or info@broadwaysanjose.com.
